Elkem: employees’ health is top concern

Elkem’s CEO Michael Koenig sent a letter to all employees on March 17, stressing that the most important concern of Elkem has always been the health and safety of employees, which is consistent with the  zero harm philosophy held by Elkem.

Elkem's production lines are fully opened to produce sodium hypochlorite, which is the original solution for preparing disinfectant. Compounding rubber, sealant, liquid rubber and silicone oil products are also provided to companies which make epidemic prevention materials. In China, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones began to produce reusable silicone masks. In France, Elkem silicones provides disinfectant gel to support the local government's epidemic fight.
