Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. Established

On May 8, 2021, Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. (Sinochem Holdings) was established, forming through the joint restructuring of Sinochem Group Co., Ltd. and China National Chemical Corporation Ltd. (ChemChina).

Sinochem Holdings is a leading state-owned enterprise under the supervision of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Headquartered in Beijing, Sinochem Holdings has more than 220,000 employees.

Sinochem Holdings operates in eight business sectors covering life science, materials science, basic chemicals, environmental science, rubber & tire, machinery & equipment, city operation, and industrial finance, becoming the world's largest chemical conglomerate. Sinochem Holdings leads in subdivisions of agrochemicals and animal nutrition in life science, and those of fluorine silicon materials, engineering plastics and rubber additives in materials science. Basic chemicals business has distinctive features and develops along the entire value chain of petrochemical industry. Environmental science business focuses on the industrial field and is growing rapidly. Sinochem Holdings leads on the world high-end tire business and is the top market player in plastic machinery business. In the field of city operation, Sinochem Holdings is among the first group of 16 state-owned enterprises with real estate as its main business approved by the SASAC. Its subsidiary, China Jinmao, is an outstanding city operator in China. In industrial finance, Sinochem Holdings owns multiple financial business licenses, with trust and leasing boasting competitive advantages.

After restructuring, Sinochem Holdings will have 16 listed companies both at home and abroad, i.e. Yangnong Chemical (600486.SH), Adama (000553.SZ), Adisseo (600299.SH), Sinochem International (600500.SH), Luxi Chemical (000830.SZ), Haohua Tech (600378.SH), Elkem (ELK.OL), Pirelli (PIRC.MI), China Jinmao (00817.HK).
