On May 8, 2021, Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. (“Sinochem Holdings”) was established through the restructuring between Sinochem Group Co., Ltd. (“Sinochem”) and China National Chemical Corporation Ltd. (“ChemChina”). On behalf of 220,000 employees around the world, we would like to thank you for your trust and support over the years, and we are looking forward to continuing our partnership on the brand new platform of Sinochem Holdings.

Sinochem and ChemChina both boast glorious past. Sinochem’s predecessor can be traced back to China Import Corporation established in 1950. ChemChina owns a large number of chemical subsidiaries and research institutes with a long history. By decades of reform and exploration, the two companies have grown into large-scale conglomerates with global presence, ranking among the Fortune Global 500.

In recent years, global chemical industry has been going through consolidation, of apparent scale effect and dominated by large enterprises. Thus Sinochem Holdings came into being. It has inherited the qualifications and industrial strengths of Sinochem and ChemChina across various fields, carrying on their brilliant culture and legacy.
