Liming Institute’s Glass-edging Polyurethane Material Wins Gold Award

Recently, at the 2019 supplier conference of Shanghai Inteva Automotive Door Systems, Liming Research Institute of Chemical Industry (Liming Institute) won the only gold prize of the "Excellent R&D Performance Award", by relying on its high-quality products and services related to glass-edging polyurethane material.

Inteva is a world-leading automotive parts company and enjoys a very high reputation in the industry.

Wei Yongji, Party Secretary and General Manager of Liming Institute, on behalf of the Liming Institute, delivered a speech when accepting the award. The institute won the Excellent R&D Performance Award for the timely and effective technical improvement of its environment-friendly skylight glass edging and responsive services.

In 2018, Liming Institute became a supplier of Shanghai Inteva Automotive Door Systems. The institute responds rapidly to the requirements on performance test and improvement put forward by Inteva, actively carries out various experiments and tests, and meets the requirements in a timely manner through R&D and improvements. The improved material has surpassed imported products of its kind in the aspects of environmental protection, mechanical property and processing property, winning high recognition from Inteva.

Liming Institute has begun to develop polyurethane materials for automobiles since the 1980s. At present, it boasts world-leading glass edging technology and has become one of Chinese suppliers capable of supplying glass edging compound and technical support on a large scale.
