Elkem Xinghuo Silicones Obtains Title of National-level and Jiangxi Provincial-level "Green Factory"

Recently, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones has been included in the fourth batch of green manufacturing list released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and the second batch of green manufacturing list released by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province. It has obtained the title of "National-level Green Factory" and "Green Factory in Jiangxi Province" successfully.

The national initiative of "Green Factory" is a national selection activity organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, accelerate the construction of green manufacturing system and set an advanced model for green manufacturing enterprises. Enterprises meeting the "Green Development" initiative are recognized and selected after evaluation and confirmation of provincial- and national-level departments of industry and information technology, and expert verification and publicity.

Over the years, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones has fulfilled its social responsibility actively, advocated circular economy and green development, practiced the idea of "Zero Emission for China's chemical industry", and implemented the "four zero" (zero leakage, zero risk, zero violation, zero emission) action around the three "first" (safety first, environment protection first, quality first) goal. In 2018, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones was awarded the National-level Green Manufacturing System Integration Enterprise, playing an exemplary role in leading green development of the industry.
